Jake Muir - the hum of your veiled voice

Anyone remember that excellent album from 2018, 'Lady's Mantle'?

Jake has just released a new work. First listen sounds very promising.

Obviously too many minds have been lost to SIGN.

Mmm. Warp had SIGN already to go back in the summer. Sean & Rob were like, "Hold on a second. That Jake Muir album in October. Let's fuck with that shit!"

I saw this pop up on IG, came here to check if it's been posted. His music has these timbres and depth to it that's quite unique, reminds me a bit of some Fennesz releases but still very much it's own sound.

His previous LP was great. Definitely picking this up.

Yeah his last one was fantastic.  Everything on sferic has been mint imo.  This one's no exception.

sferic is a great label. i really liked the previous romeo poirier album.

Yeah he’s been on here or still is. I’ve chilled w/ him irl in years past. I forgot what his name on here was tho. This new one is his third one. This is the first. https://www.discogs.com/Monadh-Muara/master/1051746

Yeah sferic is one of the most consistent labels. I like almost everything they put out. 

Beautiful, blissful album.
