I couldn't order this quick enough after I heard the samples. 

I doubt it's intentional (given the timing) but this sounds like an homage to the late and great Harold Budd.

After his reworking of the Purpose of Peace he released on his bandcamp a year or so ago I was hoping he might return to his earlier more lyrical style i.e. Works and Circular Forms, but on first listen this is definitely more towards Above All Dreams and Kimberlin.  Still sounds good and undeniably AM though.  Might treat myself to some codeine and blast this through the monitors later.  Also there's an AM tshirt up on the ecstatic bandcamp.  If he comes back to London I will be wearing it and waving at him across the road from his flat.
