TM404 (Andreas Tilliander) - Syra

Don't know how I missed this one.  Tilliander is great and his last TM404 album still gets regular plays from me.  

Nice, slow dubbed out acid.

i extremely love how textural this project is. he's got multiple tape delays hooked up to his mixer and he's hitting everyone of them into the red and it sounds absolutely beautiful. everything sounds really soft and dusty in a most pleasing way. if i smoked weed, this is what i would be listening to every night. this is the sound of weed.

that last mokira album (chill out) was also really good. almost somewhere in between the mokira and tm404 sound. did you check that one out?

Yeah. Loved that Mokira one. But to be honest, I may have only listened a couple times. Will have to dust it off. 

on first blush this sounds really interesting, gonna have to give it a full listen tomorrow. never checked out this guy's stuff under any moniker as far as i can remember.

Tilliander is always excellent. I still listen frequently to Skokoll. 

Also yes, the comment about weed is accurate, to a surgically precise point.

You should definitely do that though, superb idea.

He's obviously referencing Sonic Youth's Sister as well.  

Will definitely have to check this out; been enjoying his Telomic Ghost LP a lot lately, real nice crackly Basic Channel kind of vibe to it
