Yan Cook is better known for his driving techno output under his own name, but his more adventurous alias Rhomb is worth checking out; Zero Gravity is the first Rhomb album and comes highly recommended.

This is really, really good. If you're into non-cheesy darker melodic synth(waveish) atmospherics (cf. Buspin Jieber, Com Truise), check it out. Sidechain pumping included.
