Kero - Demo Vectors (Detroit Underground)

A new album from Detroit Underground head honcho Kero, skittering, stuttering, glitchy beats and breaks, quite Gescom-ish. Highly recommended, available on vinyl and in digital. There's also some related NFTs, if you're into that.

Besides their music, I've always liked the graphic design side of Detroit Underground. I bought this record on vinyl just for the cover, but I'll get the digitals for listening, too. It's a good great record, some of the recent DetUnd output hasn't been this interesting.

The recent passing of Kelli Hand reminded me of her collaborative project/label with Kero, Kerohand. Couldn't find them in digital, so alas, they seem to be vinyl only.

Agree on the Kero - it’s really great. Did you ever hear the recent Galcid album on DetUnd? One of my favorites of the year so far.

It's on my wantlist, but I feel it might be too neurotic sounding to my tastes, there are some hyperpopish elements that rub me the wrong way.
