I can't change octave in Renoise HELP!

I have changed the octave Up and Down on the settings so It fits my laptop.

But when I change octave up or down ALL the other notes in the whole f-kin pattern changes in the same time WTF Why do you even want that? HELP PLEASE!

This is crazy.. What Is the difference between Transpose note up and Octave up? Why is everything changing in the same time? OMG so annoying! 

I thought CERN was full of smart people...

u can always right click the sequencer and go down to selection. There u can just click on transpose note up 1 or 12. It also gives the short cut for that command.

All the other notes changes in the same time that way also. 

You mean that's not happen to you? 

 u should really just check the manual. It has two options use the transpose command on a single note or all the notes in the column. Im on windows never used a mac so idk what the alt or ctrl equivalent is on mac.

Even if you go Selection --> Transpose? Sounds to me like you're clicking the wrong thing

you wanted to change octave for keyjazzing do you? not to change octave for notes already in pattern

as far as i have numpad on my keayboard i can change octave with / and *
you should bind em here:

global -> octave -> increase/decrease

BUT I still dont have no clue how I change one notes octave without doing it automatically on all other notes!

Lets say I have C-3, A-2, G-3, A-4 and want to change A-2 to a A#-3. 

On all other trackers I just go to the note and holding in the minus or plus key to to go down or up note by note fast simple and easy. 

Can not do this in Renoise?

Let's make a deal: one skin per octave.

Btw you can upload stuff on wetransfer.com - it's kept for a week or so only but its a good way to send stuff in a pinch.

I think Im going back to PlayerPro.. There u can even just klick on a note and a whole window with every note is popping up.

I agree renoise should have this.

this renoise tool is handy if u like having every note one click away.

Its called piano roll editor its not really a piano roll but w/e.
