RIP Robbie Shakespeare

The guy's name is basically synonymous with reggae bass. His loss is as monumental as the bassweight he left behind.

Did a massive reggae/dub/dancehall/Trojan Records phase somewhere in my late twenties, I was smoking a bit of the magic herb (mostly munching mushies) and hanging out with hippies in SE Asia, so that all goes hand in hand. Definitely Sly & Robbie is a name I kind of hazily remember. Just thought I’d share that, otherwise a zero reply seems a bit sad. Thanks for the hazy times.
