NI looking for product specialist in the NYC area

Recommended Posts

Hey guys.

Wanted to post this here as I thought there might be some of you interested.

Native Instruments is looking for a product specialist in the NYC area. Not sure if any of you are living out that way at the moment, but I figured it was worth a shot, as some of you seem to know NI products pretty well. It's a part-time gig... couple days a week. You need reliable transportation outside of the city, and have to be willing to travel to some extent.

I'm pasting the full description of the job below as it's listed on the NI site. You can either contact the email address at the bottom, or just PM me directly if you have any questions.

Cheers,

c

Product Specialist

USA, part-time

Your Profile

* You must be outgoing, self-motivated and have a love of music technology and a desire to impart your knowledge to others

* In-depth knowledge of Mac and Windows operating systems and computer-based music production as a whole

* You will need your own transportation to and from the dealers you will be working with

Job Profile

* Visiting musical instrument dealers and running in-store clinics on NI products

* Training store employees on how to demonstrate and sell NI products

* Maintaining store computers to ensure our products are updated and running properly

* Presenting in-depth demonstrations of our products to public audiences

* This should take you one full day per week.

* Entry level position with the opportunity for future promotion within the company

If you meet these qualifications please send a covering letter and your resumé, stating your earliest possible starting date and expected salary, to:

damn i'd love to work for NI but unfortunately i live in boston, have no car, and must support myself (and i doubt i could make $60k a year working part time for you, but if so then HOT DOG, lemme find an apartment and a hooptie in NYC!).

so are you guys opening a 3rd office there or is this just for like making sure NI products are running in various NYC area guitar centers and stuff?

sounds like a neat gig.

yeah, $60k it doesn't quite pay, but it's great for someone who is working part time or a student in NYC already.

we're not opening an office there, but we do need some east coast product specialist support, as we've recently re-vamped the program. it's a lot of fun. plus you get all the NI goodies you can eat. which ain't bad. =)

rock on,

c
