exitonly
Kind of surprised this isnt in the forum already. I'm not really familiar with Herva but I checked the previews and it sounds pretty dope. Not to be overly reductive but definitely in the generative vein similar to william fields, some AE-esque karplus/delay textures. worth a listen imo. I'll pick it up if/when it shows up in the local shops https://bleep.com/release/324397-herva-seez Edited September 21, 2022 by exitonly splesh, kausto, herva and 1 other 4 Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide exitonly's signature Hide all signatures https://exit-only.com https://ravenation.club/@exitonly Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/103052-herva-seez/ Share on other sites
dr lopez
I purchased and enjoyed the first album "Kila" on mu. That was back in 2015 I think. I listened to Hyperflux but didn't remember it. I will listen to this one and see how I feel. herva 1 Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide dr lopez's signature Hide all signatures On 11/24/2015 at 12:29 PM, Salvatorin said: I feel there is a baobab tree growing out of my head, its leaves stretch up to the heavens Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/103052-herva-seez/#findComment-2926233 Share on other sites
Soloman Tump
Kila was awesome glitch sampled funk. This new album is very different on first listen, almost a different artist. herva 1 Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Soloman Tump's signature Hide all signatures https://intrusivesignals.blogspot.com/ Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/103052-herva-seez/#findComment-2926243 Share on other sites

herva
Hi guys! Herva here During the 7 ye gap from Kila to Seez I changed a lot how I make music. To make Kila I used Akai samplers (mpc 1k, s950, s3200xl), DX7, tapes, old Eventide stuff and some Max/Msp. At that time my studio was mainly hardware based. On the contrary Seez has been entirely generated by software I coded using Csound. I haven't used any daw, samples or outboard except some home-made analog gear to mix and compress. Csound rocks, I plan to dig it further. By the way, thanks for your support, that means a lot to me. Hugs Dave3, kausto, dumplings and 7 others 10 Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/103052-herva-seez/#findComment-2926385 Share on other sites
