herva - seez

Kind of surprised this isnt in the forum already. I'm not really familiar with Herva but I checked the previews and it sounds pretty dope. Not to be overly reductive but definitely in the generative vein similar to william fields, some AE-esque karplus/delay textures. worth a listen imo. I'll pick it up if/when it shows up in the local shops

I purchased and enjoyed the first album "Kila" on mu. That was back in 2015 I think. I listened to Hyperflux but didn't remember it. I will listen to this one and see how I feel. 

Kila was awesome glitch sampled funk. This new album is very different on first listen, almost a different artist.

Hi guys! Herva here

During the 7 ye gap from Kila to Seez I changed a lot how I make music.

To make Kila I used Akai samplers (mpc 1k, s950, s3200xl), DX7, tapes, old Eventide stuff and some Max/Msp. At that time my studio was mainly hardware based. 

On the contrary Seez has been entirely generated by software I coded using Csound. I haven't used any daw, samples or outboard except some home-made analog gear to mix and compress.

Csound rocks, I plan to dig it further.
