It's a bit odd to indulge in nostalgia for a genre that was, in its time, very much about the future.

But like most of us here it's an era I remember fondly so I'm enjoying this all the same.

Had some long drives yesterday & today and I can't get enough of this album.  It's a lot of tracks but easily digestible.  There's familiar callbacks from quintessential albums I grew up with all over this thing.  And they have the confidence to proudly wear that badge on their sleeve.

yeah, weird how most of the tracks really sounds like an intended b.o.c. emulation.

I've been listening to this one a lot lately; I think it's remarkable.  I admit that when I first heard it, I chuckled at it being a well done but entirely derivative BOC clone.  But, the more I listened, I think it's outstanding.  And it's not just heavy BOC influence.  As someone mentioned above, there's some strong Inacunabula vibes in a few places, one track had some Bochum Welt, etc.  And it's consistently very good to great.
