Ah ok, so that's a kind of trend in that "scene" ? So I guess the new album will be full guitar music ? Would be a bit sad IMO "Baby With A Halo" is really, really good and I was hoping for a new album in the same style...

Hit and miss is also what I'd describe it as. The 'Kevin' record was very nice but not among Ben Bondy's best work. Same with the last Naemi album. Hoodie have some good tracks and some stuff I don't care much for.

What would you guys recommend in that style ? I know @species8472 got some great taste in Chain Reaction/ Basic Channel influenced music.

Its kind of weird how a lot of these guys have started making shoegaze adjacent music just as it has started to gain traction on tiktok/in the mainstream. Fair enough I suppose, follow your muse and all that but it still feels a little calculated or something. You wouldnt get Sassu Ripatti all of a sudden thinking he was in Slowdive.
