Well, I think I'ma have a crack at this one. Just cos it'll be fun playing around with all the Fairlight, LinnDrum and Prophet V sounds :on2long:

Plus you can win some hardware thingy too. But that'll probably go to some crap that sounds like Enya, so I'm doing this for my own amusement :laughing:

Nice one. Totally different to mine. I haven't listened to that many of the mixes on the site. There are just shitloads of them. The 4.5mb upload limit seems a bit stingy.

Certainly seems to be mystifying the people on the site, judging by the comments. :D

If you took out most of the reverb to clean up the frequencies and put the part with the synth build up in there to balance out the chaos, you know the poly synth sound, you might have a winner. I like the dissonant synths at the end. What software did you use?

Yeah it probably is a bit messy. I could tidy it up, but my extreme laziness will prevent me. I just used Live 5. The synths were just tiny segments of the original samples looped in Simpler. The bit at the end where it fades out is probably my favourite bit!

This is the shizzy. Everyone get on there and vote our man up.

If you are too lazy, just add a break down. Like a bridge where it slows down to give the choatic part importance. Just mute the other tracks basically.
