Vinyl out April 28, b-side is another new one called "All Of A Sudden"

Wasn't a fan of "The Darkness That You Fear", too much focus on the vocal samples I felt, the musical parts are cool but I felt they kept swapping elements in and out abit too much, if that makes sense? Even on the extended version. But digging "No Reason" here though, sounds more together for what it is.

Chem10 is sounding promising!

I haven’t listened to new albums by The Chems for about 20 years! Could be worth an afternoon zipping through Spotify and having a catch up. I watched their epic Glastonbury set a few years ago and was impressed, though how much of that was newer stuff I can’t say.

I quite enjoyed the last album "No Geography" and I saw them live on that tour too, was great.

Not bowled over by the new single although the acid squelch that fires up near the end was much welcomed by that point in the track.

Further (2010) was really good

Interesting how much quicker stuff got in a few years of XTC / Ibiza / Trance.... 1999

Yeah, I was more of a fan of their "Big Beat" era as well, then they got psychedelic, but they still produced some good stuff (Star Guitar, Sunshine, Surface To Air etc), the last evolution was definitely "Further", when they got more epic, 10+ minute bangers I think they are more than capable of doing at this point, but the last couple albums didn't quite further that. Still, I'm hoping Chem10 is a double cd epic..... shall see then soon.

My first album of theirs was "We Are the Night," and I quite liked it back then. First track of theirs I heard was "Galvanize" in whatever advertisement campaign it was used in the Americas for.

Anyway, they've got good stuff all throughout their discogs. I'll re-up @Rubin Farr saying 2010's "Further" is very good.

Ok, this here was very meh.

But I can see them adding this into their liveset, into "Under The Influence" or better yet: "Dust Up Beats", its doable.... Hmmmm.....

I wish they'd doubled down on being an amazing neo-krautrock project.

But I wish every band ever had done that.

Top 3 track of theirs imo. Total winner

Their best album imo, this still gets pretty regular rotation at our house.
