yeah, i was kinda wondering if playing music really low on expensive speakers really gets the best out of them

listening to expensive speakers queit to bring out subtleties in the music sounds faggy to me, turn your speakers up.

You should probably be mixing quietly, but turn up your speakers periodically to check the mix loudly. If you mix loud it will sound better than it really does. but be weary of overcompression, just check in as many levels as possible and on a few different speakers espessially if you dont have studio monitors. I dont, and fuck a lot of shit up because of it. I need some actual speakers I think.
