Chicago Techno (not to be confused with Detroit House)

Yes, Detroit is where techno started and Chicago is where house began, but although sometimes Detroit house is also often celebrated, Chicago's techno is much less feted. Let's try to change that, shall we?

Huerco S. vibes on that one, it's great. He's Chicago House for sure, but he did blur the lines quite a bit. Shame he didn't release more music.

As a youngster in Chicago in the 90s, it was pretty clear: house is house, techno is techno… but our house and our techno is better than yours
