SQUIDLID
That was a bonkers gig, loads of new fresh material interweaved expertly with some oldies. No live bass guitar, but it was absolutely slammin'. Not sure how 'live' the actual gig was as I never got close enough to the front to see musical gear, but it was one of the best Squarepusher gigs I've been to. Kinda soulless venue, but the sound was really good for Tom & it was decent enough, all pretty chill. Visuals were awesome too! Hoping someone recorded the whole thing (& shares it), but I've got a few fun short excepts on my phone as token snapshots. I wonder if some of the fresh material will see a release soon... Amusing side note: Francis Borgeouis, train enthusiast & underground electronic music fan was in the crowd. He seemed to not get hassled too much, but there was a selfie or 2 that I clocked.
