Released in 1991, The Pulse EP was Brian Dougans and Gaz Cobain’s first release for Jumpin’ & Pumpin’, a label they would become synonymous with. Showcasing their multi-alias approach, the A side features two slices of epic, rave-friendly techno from Indo Tribe. Meanwhile, the B side includes the first tracks they ever released as The Future Sound of London, including the melodic acid classic ‘Pulse State’. The EP spawned three sequels, and is now reissued for the first time in over 30 years.

This follows recent reissues of Accelerator, Papua New Guinea, Earthbeat and Principles of Motion - I believe there are more on their way. It's nice to have this early material all back in print once more.

The four Pulse EPs are amazing, I'm still caning them at parties and people come up to the booth with stars in their eyes yelling "WHAT!!! IS!!! THIS!!!". Indo Tribe's Owl (from Pulse Three) is my personal favourite.

@purlieu do you know if the tracks have been remastered?

You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.
