One of the most forward looking producers in today's experimental dance music world is 33EMYBW out of Shanghai, China. Her 2019 album Arthropods is one of the coolest, freshest collections of nonidiomatic electronic dance beats of the past decade, one of the finest things on the wonderful label SVBKVLT, and for whatever little it's worth, a personal favourite of mine. The album before it, Golem, is also really worth listening to. This new release of hers which is due in a month and a week from today (I post this October 1st) is a concept album about nonlinear time and extradimensional lifeforms! I think it ought to be super cool
