Not cheap, but the original vinyl album on WéMè goes second hand on Discogs for a 100 € minimum, EP for 50 €. Electro of the highest order, absolutely essential.

Yeah I bought Commodified at the time, but missed the preceeding EP but Im not gonna pay 55 quid for it now. That last EP track is up there with either artist's finest work, it sounds like its being beamed in from 200 years in the future. The album's fantastic too but closer to their usual fare.

I'm going to buy them separately I have enough tote bags, ordering a few records for a few people at once to minimise delivery costs, I hate giving out about the price of records it makes me feel so old, but it is a genuine gripe, ordered a good few directly from Weme recently and their prices seemed so fair, clearly the difference between a labour of love and a business, I got a few vibert albums on cd from them for 1 euro each, how can they even be making money on that?

Yeah, Discogs is getting enshittified, too, it's a growing concern that networked platforms want to monetize everything, and everyone suffers for it. I have 17+ years of Discogs buying history, and the purchases are getting more and more infrequent, because everything is being squeezed by rent-seeking.

Yeah man I'm ordering 7 off them this time so it makes delivery cost decent, I know bleep are charging me for vat so if they get stopped by customs I can send them their tax creds and get them OK. Price of vinyl is crazy these days, I hate giving out about it bit it's real but in all fairness the price of everything in dublin seems to have gone bananas, a mix of covid and the war in Ukraine and everybody using e-money to pay for things, its a cunt but it is what it is, then some labels are still charging 8euro for an ep, it pisses me off, I got the latest Lord of The D ep 3 track orange vinyl for 8 euro from Weme in Belgium and then his latest on Bleep is 26euro for 3 tracks, you'd want to be a simpleton not to question that, I'm not buying uranium from timbuktu I'm buying 2 amazing records from the same artist and the one who is much closer to where I live charging me over 3 tines the price

YES – I've been feeling that the various Drexciya-related reissues of recent years were building up to this. Not even that bummed about it coming in one of those often dangerous PVC sleeves. Nevermind, it's housed in "clear poly inner sleeves", nice!

If youre on about the SR-71 EP, thats out on Furthur Electronix which I think are a very small label which do tiny runs which I think must drive the cost up. I ordered it from their bandcamp a few months ago and it hasnt been released yet, and Ive seen a couple of people on here grumbling about the label's boutique status and opaque customer interaction so I assume it must be one or two guys struggling along.

It's is that record yeah, they're entitled to do what they want and as a paying customer I'm entitled to give my opinion on what I think are legitimate price comparisons, I've had good dealings with furthur electronix. I'm not exactly sure what it is that you're saying, Weme from Belgium aren't exactly Warp records they're a similar label to Furthur, similar artists, many of the same, don't think they have loads of staff. My point is that they're hurtling towards a tipping point where the vast majority are forced into streaming or piracy, nobody in music wants that, music should be affordable for the masses. as far as the music i breezes through some of this and obv some stellar stuff but there were some head scratchers in there too so idk

I paid 49,99 € for the CD with all the tracks + 8,50 € in shipping in 2019, now the only one available is 115 €... it was about time this got a reissue w/ proper digital.

I definitely want these, but I'm kinda holding out to see what the standard editions at other stores are like. Hopefully they come with a regular sleeves, I hate those PVC ones.

Also, does anybody know why the EP is listed as a "Bleep Exclusive" while the LP is a "Bleep Upfront Exclusive"? What's the difference?
