It Doesn't Matter™
You are in a maze of twisty little passages, all alike.

Excited for this, these are both great albums. Very abstract and minimal, but I keep coming back to them over the years. It' hard to describe, but there's something mysterious and haunting buried in there. Empty but still human. Relaxing and unnerving at the same time

the reissues are out today https://www.thrilljockey.com/products/init-ding-_snd-remastered

the remaster sounds extremely good, i'm really tempted to buy the vinyl though i already have the original pressings... simply some of the greatest electronic music ever recorded

This STEIM archive is a veritable goldmine!

Wow yes:
STEIM (STudio for Electro Instrumental Music) was a center for research and development of new musical instruments in the electronic performing arts, located in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Beginning in the 1970's, STEIM became known as a pioneering center for electronic music, where the specific context of electronic music was always strongly related to the physical and direct actions of a musician. In this tradition, STEIM supported artists in residence such as composers and performers, but also multimedia and video artists, helping them to develop setups which allowed for bespoke improvisation and performance with individually designed technology. In 2020 STEIM seized to exist due to lack of funding.
Wish I'd heard of this sooner...
