Probably his most exciting release in a while — 2002's Stil. rearranged and composed and such for acoustic instruments. Thankfully there's still a less-is-more thing here considering the small range of instrumentation (how Temper is pulled off with just clarinets and shaker I don't fucking know).

Oh this looks fascinating. That version of Temper is lovely. Still a big fan of the original.

Gorgeous revisit of snow/sand has arrived. A little looser than the original but still some brilliant drone work.

It's out. Biased take, but it's pretty good.

Every time I see this musicians name I can't help but think of this.

They released the digitals a few weeks back if you had pre-ordered the book. I've had a few listens back then while travelling, really enjoyed it, though I need to get it back into rotation and focus on it properly. Really looking forward to the vinyl and hardback.

Taylor Deupree is someone who has released a ton of music I love, I'm sure this album will be more of the same excellence I have come to expect

My copy of the book arrived today. Nice little artefact, happy I treated myself to both the book and the vinyl. 

There's section by Taylor Deupree on how he made Stil, tools used at the time, his approach to sound design. Very nice.
