They wanted to do an Aphex documentary so they pressed an EP to promote it and may not have got in touch with AFX? What was on the vinyl?  

Is the interview being filmed next thursday with RDJ?

Watch. The interview will be with some rando and the vinyl will have tracks from the SoundCloud dump. 

I think they are insinuating that Richard is going to be interviewed this next Thursday.

Curious, seems like they're taking it pretty seriously if they're pressing records & creating merch. Would suggest it's going to be a fairly big feature, maybe more of a documentary? Hopefully something decent comes of it, & it gets fully realised & released.

Apart from Windowlicker bitches, why would you mention intro from Orb's Earth (Gaia)? 

Might just be me but I'm struggling to find the details in this supposed Lanner documentary that distinguish it as something more special than just a fan putting a documentary together on their own, without any specific collaboration with Aphex Twin. Are there any details about what's on the vinyl, even? Who's to say they're not just soundcloud tracks that are already released that the documentary maker put together? I'm not understanding the hype.

(not saying that it's not worth being interested in - it's cool that a documentary's being made, but I think some fans are seeing things that aren't there)

nothing ever happens. Also, in the Aphex mythos, probably the nearest thing to "interview Richard" is to interview a random person that spotted the Aphex symbol on the street or something.

Ya... sorry... It felt like something was up.  Must patiently wait for the next real thing.
