I still listen to all his stuff regularly. Most of the music from the glitch era of ambient sounds pretty dated now but his still holds up.

Let's hope he has more music coming.

yes! thank you! I LOVE Shuttle's music—really has some distinct aura that makes it liminal between nostalgic and futuristic... Beautiful stuff. Thanks for the linking.

That's interesting, to my ears that's some of the music that has aged the best. I suppose sensibilities have changed and the style itself is dated, but the sounds are just a crisp as ever. It's so minimal as to become timeless, in a way. Like if you played me a new ambient glitch track I'm not sure I'd be able to distinguish it from an old one on first listen.

At any rate, excited to get this on LP. That just leaves Understanding Wildlife (Also fantastic, probably my favorite after Chessa)

Finally got a chance to listen to this new remaster. It really is a noticeable improvement on the original, with a lot more clarity in the high end. I don't often buy remastered versions of albums I already have but this one is tempting.

My copy came a few days ago, been listening a lot since then. Gorgeous record, lovely to have it properly back in print again. This and Frame are probably my two favourite records of the original clicks & cuts era, I suppose they really helped push the style towards the less abstract sound it developed into in the early '00s.
