Not using CDs any more, but my CD player from the 90s still works flawlessly (never owned another one). Same goes for the Amplifier, I bought it even before the CD player. Beginning of 90s I guess. It even remembers my favourite tracks (that "FTS" system). It's playing 808 State Ex:EL. As a bonus: my cat.
