Odd slow version of Mt Saint Michel + Saint Michael's Mount found on youtube, what's going on here?

Recommended Posts

I've listened/made a bunch of different slowed down versions of aphex tracks but there is something really strange about this one. It's slowed down a fair bit but has the same pitch, which I've done before with programs like sonic visualiser, but usually that process changes the sound a fair bit, adds strange artifacts, and completely fucks all sense of reverb, which it should. Whereas this version is super clean in comparison. Anyone know how this is done? I'm not even sure how this is possible. it also seems to have subtle extra reverb for almost the whole thing, it sounds like I'm listening to the original PP file played at a slower bpm on a good sound system in a room.

Hah, so it was! Think the elastique algo was available in Reaper back then which was (still is) pretty good

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.
