Muflontillah has suggested that a compilation be created as a 0th birthday gift for my expectant first child.

I loved the idea from the get-go, and knowing how creative you guys and gals are, i would be honoured if you could find the time to create some mellow, melodic ambient tunes which, not only would delight myself, but would also aid an infant in getting a good nights sleep.

BlueIgloo Baby is not due until mid-January '07, so there's loads of time to get your tunes in.

I'd love to contribute, but my music can't really be qualified as soothing sounds for babies.

I'll try though...

i'm going to try and adopt the idea of 'whatever is soothing for me will work for baby'.

yeah sounds like a good idea. I'm stuck here with nothing to do but write music (for class, even). I'll probably have one in a couple days.

Alright, this shit fell outta my head in the last few hours...

everything is analog (except the heartbeat and the voice samples). I figured it would only be right for a kid.

i just wanted to comment about how i named my latest (ambient) album "Oth." to me, it is a double entendre for both 0th and an abreviation for "nothing."

i think it's a cool application for the word, to be used for a baby's actual birthday

that being said, maybe i will contribute to this...

Not on me. I recorded that with an MD before I got some nice things to work with. I may re-record it, but it'd probably sound different because it's 98% improvised.

i was in the process of making a "music for babies" ep last year with 4 tracks each dedicated to recent babies

one was gonna be for litl LOL Alzado baby

but my computer spazzed out and it never finished
