Remembering Dus Xroo - In memoriam of my best friend Drew Kent

Hey everyone,

I'm a new poster here and I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this  but I'd like to give you some information about a frequent poster here who goes by 'oyster', he made music under the name Dus Xroo.

His name was Drew Kent, and he was my oldest friend. We met in kindergarten in 1999. Drew died in August of 2021 of an overdose.

For those who got to chat with him, you may have recognized his limitless drive to hone his craft and enrich his world. If you got to listen to any of his music, you, by extension got to know him as a person. Drew was one of the most gifted people I have ever met, his imagination was boundless.

He spent a lot of time on this forum, so you are all owed an explanation of his long absence.

this is so sad. back in the glory days of watmm he was always around posting cool and interesting stuff. he was like me, posting less often in gen ban and way more active in the idm fandom side of the board which i would still love to see more of nowadays.

you will be missed man i swear the world gets smaller and smaller..

yessss i knew it! back in the day i was listening to tracks from artists i knew on watmm and i have this track (Dus Xroo), even included it in a couple of my playlists.
