diary thread for milkyheart's 14th EP

first demos here:

so I've been writing some new abstract but themed tracks this weekend. track 1 was made on Friday, track 2 on Saturday, and track 3 just today.

the themes for this release are 1) the recurrence of memories, 2) mental confusion, and 3) video game glitches.

I made a fourth track.

And scrapped it.

Then I made another and it came out much better. I can see this new track evolving into a long medley, which would be nice to see on the finished EP! Preview available here: https://vocaroo.com/14idUSSLTbW0

Also the third track got an extension, I found more fun glitch sounds to share with my listeners.

Next I'll record some more noisy chiptune footage for the final track. I will do my best to deliver another completely bonkers track. I'm really having fun creating this EP, can't you see?

So today was a productive day. I decided that the earlier track 4 I posted should in fact be the new track 5. I then extended this new track 5 to 5 minutes, and created track 4 from scratch: https://vocaroo.com/1gbx7swme4Xv

It's a great feeling when your artistic vision gradually turns into reality.

this demo has 5 out of 5 tracks, but the last one is unfinished.

still, it's a delightful 15 minutes of footage, and the video even comes with an oscilloscope view!
