Anyone knowing why and since when this is a thing? Maybe, create more content the lazy way? Who's the audience for this? Kennylogg Bubblebath Posted March 21 Report Share Posted March 21 it's obvs been around forever, but it's had a bit of a resurgence over the past 5 years or so. i'm pretty sure it's a tiktok/ig reel/brainrot thing now. i don't know the origins. maybe it was initially used as a way to skirt around copyright detection algorithms? i'm guessing the sped up versions exist purely to facilitate (and monetise from) tiktok trends, rather than being something that's legitimately listened to. but who even knows these days. who even cares.
