Guest welcome to the machine

well, great intro, the first track really made me relaxed and sleepy, but then track two kicked in and it was a really perfect contrast. it (track 2) reminds me alot of tortoise (very avant guard new york band, very electro sounding for a band if you get me, it's hard to notice the 'real' instruments in there tracks..).

i like the percussion and drums keeping everything together as the rest of the track goes nuts.

3 - now this is cool, great ambience. the track sounds so preasurised, like it's bursting at the seams all the time, love the layers flowing over each other, making it a wall of music as opposed to a simple track. love it when the kick becomes more apparent. the track sounds to me like someone really scared but putting on a brave face.

nice ending, rounds things off nicely...

but i think you could do with another track in there before the last one, i think the ep needs this to make it feel whole. also, minor point but when the last track fades out i think you should make it allot longer and more gradual because something as realsied as this needs 'released' properly!

very good work man.

wow, this is not really what i expected to hear from you, sir hopper. very enjoyable melodies & relaxing vibes of track 01. track 02 has another great textural atmosphere, but with some funky breaks holding it all together. 03 is hoppery craziness that i've come to love. really chill synths while the beats just go completely whack on meth. so complex! mindblowing. i agree with machine that the last track could be longer. it's quite good the way it is, but its goodness is over too soon.

quite a diggable little ep. so diggable i found a bone in it.
