I completely agree... and I'll throw Sequoia in with that too.

Oh, of course - there are so many A+ tracks from these old collections that you really can't say "this one track is the absolute best".

That's very true... it only makes you imagine the quantity of great tracks they have locked away.

Just relistened Mansel.. it's indeed very nice and kinda suits my mood as well.. nice music at night!

btw, what do you think this title refers to?

could it possibly be a reference to Clint Mansell ?

This song always reminds me of sitting on the dock at my grandparents' cottage in the Thousand Islands on Chaumont Bay when I was a kid. We were also close to Canada so I'd often watch Canadian childrens' shows on Saturday mornings while we visited. I wish I could go back there, listening to BoC makes me very nostalgic for those times...the combination of nature, the water and the weird Canadian shows is pretty much the embodiment of their music for me. I wonder if I'd still be such a huge fan if I'd never been there?

and yes, brilliant track.

for me the sequence sequoia/boqurant/5-9-78 are great....5--9-78 is a present from heaven. Mansell is ok, but not at this level.
