Braintree
THanks, man. I realized it needed some bass right after I uploaded, and some backround shit. Braintree
Well, the idea is to take traditional folk music to unconventional areas. Using lots of natural drum sounds would defeat the purpose of the experiment first of all, and I think it would also be boring. I appreciate the feedback, though. Guest Basi Goreng
The koto sounds tired. I don't know how else to describe it. Would be interesting to hear the beats you have now replaced with Japanese percusion sounds. I think you mentioned it earlier but I think there should be something backing the koto to give it a nice looming feeling when the beat kicks in. The wind-down at the end was nice, reminds me of asa chang & junray - hana, goin in and out of the beats. The koto on its own as it stands now does sound a little tired like Basi mentioned but with some backing it could be great. Solid effort, keep it goin Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/10942-sakura/#findComment-223049 Share on other sites
