Arrested Development

OMG! I've been watching all the episodes of this show for the past few weeks and they only get better with repeat viewings. Pracitcally every single line is a joke. GOB only has to be on the screen and I laugh. The episodes with J. Walter Weatherman (the one armed man) and Larry the surrogate are incredible.

Post totally awesome quotes and funny shit that makes us giggle and smile in reminiscence

GOB is definately the best part about that show...but thats definately not to say the rest of it is bad by any means...fucking gold comedy.

AD was the shit. Best tv in forever. George Micheal owns.

yeah, probably my favorite show. Haven't seen season 3 yet, Ive just watched 1 & 2 on DVD, 3 comes out in august right?

Lucile walks in to Busters room, and buster shuffles around in bed, and the robot sweeper falls out, and zips away, and buster says "what do you expect mother? I'm half machine!" and then flips out, clawing stuff.

oh, and the charlie brown reference, in that one episode, where everytime someone is sad, they walk with their heads down, and the piano music from charlie brown plays (and the first time with george michael, in the background there is a red dog house with a dog sleeping ontop)

The lawyer is telling the family he was getting back into the dating scene last night, and it cuts to him driving up to a hooker, and asks "you're not one of those dudes dressed up like a girl, but is really dude, are you?" and she replies "no baby, Im the real deal" and he drives away real fast.

The episode where the government finds a photo of what appears to be proof of WMDs in Iraq which they post on TV only to find that its actually a skewed phtograph of Tobias' testicles.

Tobias: "I'm... on TV."

Everything Tobias says is golden.

"Jeff doesn't think I'm much of a ladies man, but we'll clear all that up once I get a facial in the spa."

"Ah, the clumsiness of adolescence. But not me, I always ended up on all fours. .......like a cat....on all fours."

my favorite scene is in the first/or second episode, cant remember, where GOB keeps trying to throw Michaels letter into the ocean with this faux dramaticism.

also, the one where GOB becomes the new president and instead of telling the board a business plan, he shoots pennies out of his hands.

My favourite Gob bit is where he is talking to Steve Holt and Steve Holt says, "I'll never forget this Dad", then Gob takes a roofie and becomes unbelievably dramatic - "I will...................I will".

GOB and his dramatic exits on his segway always gets me.

jesus fucking christ, you just quoted my favorite scene...i almost busted a nut laughing.

Every time that song plays when GOB is performing magic is awesome....

Let's also not forget about the lawyer and how sleasy he is...in one episode he starts stealing their food and silverware...and also talks for 20 minutes on the phone and comes back in and says "Don't worry, I'll round it up to an hour when I bill you."

"He's VERY good!"

And let's not forget that one where the private eye keeps dressing up as different people in disguise and Lucille keeps screaming in delight! When he appeared at the end dressed like a doctor I totally lost it.

And then, finally, let's not forget the best line of all:

"And THAT'S why you don't teach a lesson to your son!!!!!"

OMG, I just got into this show. Its fucking incredible, I cant believe a show this perfect exists. I've just watched all of series 1 a few times in a week and am loving what I get to see of series 3. Gob is awesome, I just find his presence hilarious. Can anyone recommend any more decent US comedy (since everything British apart from Peep Show pales in comparison)? Obviously I am already well acquainted with Curb.
