Guest AlexPallas
just curious if anyone has heard the coil song 'at the heart of it all' and if there seems to be a correlation between the two. Fred McGriff
yes i have and hmmm good question as nine inch nails named the aphex tracks on FDTS. . . so thematically there's probably a correlation but actually soundwise no not really Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/11001-the-way-the-strings-clip-in-at-the-heart-of-it-all/#findComment-222510 Share on other sites

Fred McGriff
and nin, being very familiar with coil's work, might have heard some similarities or something. also it fits the sound of the song and the whole entire theme of that era (the golden age imo) of nine inch nails. god dam i loved nine inch nails back in the day Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/11001-the-way-the-strings-clip-in-at-the-heart-of-it-all/#findComment-222514 Share on other sites
Zephyr_Nova
I too love the way the strings clip in this track. It deserves a "best clipping" award... although it's neck and neck with a track off the new Flaming Lips album where the bass clips in the best possible way.
