BOC live, how it is?

I just listened to the amazing live at the 10th birthday party of warp, and I wondered how Marcus and Michael prepare this.

Are they behind laptops and just select things to play? and are very static? I mean the songs are near from the original record because it is electronic, but may be they add instrumentation or try to make the tracks more interactive for the audience there. But this live is very good and I feel that the songs are deep reworked to that special event

As their live sets are so few and far between (to put it mildly), I suppose it's hard to say what's 'typical'.

thank you Caretstick, how could I forgot this website! In that gallery They make a show with a lot of things for the eye too, and that's good!

It's a shame they don't do lives now, but I believe that will change in the future and I will be there :)

I was at the Lighthouse gig and they didn't seem particularly active. I'm pretty sure one of the two was doing nothing more than watching the films ,like the rest of us. In terms of performance is was slightly diapointing. The films made up for it though.

However, in recent interviews they've talked about playing live with all analogue gear and no sequencers - so if they do announce any live dates I woudln't be put off.

There was this secret gig on the beach during sunset and ...
