Guest 1KB
i'm slowly moving away from fl studio to sonar, what's a good vst for drum sampling (then midi programming)? i've used battery but i don't like the interface, it feels slow and overcomplex i just want something i can drop samples into, no processing or anything. that's why i liked fl's step sequencer thanks in advance Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/11084-what-drum-sampler-vsts-are-you-guys-using/ Share on other sites

Guest Captain Cooper
I use Impulse that comes with ableton... but that's probably no good to you  For rex files though I swear by microdicer and will recommend it to anyone: http://www.concretefx.com/MicroDicer.htm Nice, simple rx2 player, does exactly what it says on the tin, no hassle. And it's only £21 Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/11084-what-drum-sampler-vsts-are-you-guys-using/#findComment-223775 Share on other sites
Bubba69
for payware i use the sampler in energyXT ($50) (you could use the vst version) or drumular vsti ($40). both offer a hell of a lot more in addition though. Guest 1KB
i had the idea to make a drum machine on my ti-83 but then i realised it doesn't have a speaker so instead i made a quadratic formula solver edit: also i think it's worth mentioning that each time i think texas instruments my mind replaces it with native instruments Edited August 2, 2006 by 1KB Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/11084-what-drum-sampler-vsts-are-you-guys-using/#findComment-224093 Share on other sites
