Behringer FCB1010 HELP!

does anyone who has one these useless bits of metal know how to calibrate it so its freely assignable so i can use it with ableton and reason and not for changing patches on a V-Amp or for changing parameters on synths that and 20 years old......?

Is it not just programmable?

It shouldn't make any difference to the fcb wether it's sending data to a piece of hardware or software.
