try it out. it's fun x100.

it was still kinda beta when I saw it.

it's expensive to make it and it's only made in small #s.

works for some things, other things it's not very tactile.

things on the bleeding edge of tech are usually expensive.

nah i mean it looks cool as hell and everything, but 2 grand? i know it's made in small numbers and shit but you could buy a mac book pro for that. i don't imagine they'll sell many at that price.

I can imagine you'd be able to do something very similar with one of those tablet PCs but at a fraction of a cost. Bung on Audiomulch, set up the interface with a bunch of VSTs and bob's your dad's brother.

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

Yes but I think this thing is designed so you can touch a few areas at once.

Here:

  Quote
a proprietary touchscreen technology that can track multiple fingers simultaneously.

I think it's the coolest thing I've ever seen software wise.

I'm getting quite into Reaktor - I think an interface like that could completely change the way you work and think about music... It's the sort of thing I've been waiting for...

I bet in a few years this touch screen technology will really start to work its way into home studios... Anything to avoid feeling like you're working with a computer would be a huge step forward...

Nothing whatsoever is accomplished, nothing is born and nothing is perceived.

There is neither falsity nor reality.

This is just some indescribable unborn entity which is spread.
