GReat new idea for sundays!

HOW about every sunday for a whole day

people can do a song in one day and submit it in this forum post

and there is a sunday ep for every week of new and experimental electronica and wotnot muisic

so free music downloads ever sunday?

this came as a brainewave before i got out of bed today

so what do people think? :confused:

and dont be a dick and post tracks in on a weekday ect;

this could be cool.

you know what, i think we should take it a step further, like make it a weekly track competition or something, and ppl have to post their entries on sundays

maybe like some concept art communities, have a topic every week like "make something with jazz influences", "remix and aphex track", "only use the black keys", "use all chromatic keys" "make a track using only the gmaj chord", "use only samples of farts/bikes/porn sounds/nature etc", or maybe like themes.. "make a sentimental ending track for the next hollywood blockbuster", "make a track to accompany the new cillit bang ad", "romantic song" or "war theme".. stuff like that!

it could be great fun if enough people would be in on it, we could attract ppl by having a list of the winners, maybe a special title or something above the username of the most recent winner or sumthing like that

im gagging to be producing again but i put m,y cakewalk in the recycle bin by accident and my internet is broken and i havent got 400 quid

also a great way to expand musical ventures.

if a group of us organize it and get all the ekt's in on it it will be fun and a half

i like drumatrix's add to the mix for you and i and everyone we know, do know that we'll end up cheating and spending a week on the track anyhow.

winners will get a custom sigpic with a tally box to show off to the kids around the watmm playground.

it's supposed to help you expand your horizons as an artist, but we cant force anyone.. but no restrictions will make it abit aimless and even more pointless

the acid track topic went well and was very enjoyable

Im down. The first should be to make a track with buttered up hands. That would be a fun challenge.

i think we should have a separate thread with topic suggestions, that then will randomly be picked for a particular week

but for the first week, let's go for something simple and easy, a really happy C major tune?

Well. Lets not decide ahead of time, only on sunday we will find out so we will have to wait for the requirements to make music in a day.
