was bored with a track i've been working on for too long now...

took a break and started a b.s. track for stress relief

so i sampled my 707 and cranked this out for fun and HUGE PROFITS CALL NOW, 1- 800 -electronic music - CATS

i'm not really set up for it

i've no hardware synths and no midi input to sync with my comp

I do like the TR707.

This reminded me of Yuzo Koshiro. Was quite video gamey. Could definitely be the background music to some side scroller.

Why can't you hook your 707 into your pc? It does have midi all you need is a midi adapter and a joystick port surely.

or midi to usb works a treat!

my tr707 tempo is dodgy as fuck.. i can sequence and record it, and use like maybe one or two bars before it's way out of sync with the tempo

This is just the kind of tune to wake me up in the morning. Nice detail in the drum sequencing. I feel inspired to listen to kohina all day now.

good idea dude.. just got one midi cable atm though so i cant connect my midi to sync thingy etc yet. want to record my 606 properly

well i'm sure it'd be simple as buying something cheap and plugging in

easementh had a usb -> midi thing that i stole for a little while that was kind of cool

but i'm fine with the soft synth / soft sequencing world

and now that i've already sampled the tr707 i've no use for it other than for in live exercises, which i don't participate in really.

because i'm a lazy ass

i don't know

maybe one day i'll set up some hardware all synced nice

it's certainly more therapeutic than carpal composing

nice.

was surely enjoi'd in the vehicle ... i may pull that MIDI/USB from its entanglement for some use
