Yeah its okay man. Nice pads and interesting atmosphere. Nothing overly original but I'll probably check it tomorrow again. Beat is a little on the repetative side and needs more variation I'd say. A music verse would be nice in this and maybe some acid to go with the 606 beats.

I am quite fond of those detuned synths. This reminds me a lot of Analord as far as the sound choices and arrangement goes. I like the pad stuff, almost on the cartoony side of things. Some compression on the various tracks could make the mix a lot punchier... but then you'd really be in Analord territory! Maybe ease up on the reverb at some point with automation, or (to repeat myself from other recent reviews) have fun chopping up the reverb for an interesting effect.

yeah man. i like analord, i like retro stuff I guess but I dont want to outright rip aphex or anyone else off. i'm not a huge fan of compressing stuff but i guess it's somewhat necessary these days

I'm enjoying this Laverne track. Does have a very old school retro sound to it. It's refreshingly simple. Again, the pad work is quite nice. Doesn't remind me explicitly of anything else in particular, a little bit SAWish, but not overtly so.

yeah man this is cool, love it, cant deny the love of bendy wendy moog lines, and crying atonal robots falling into despair while echoey haunting strings offer comforting hands of warm regard and tenderness, simple drum action but with this sort of montage of moments lost its not neccesarily a prerequisite to offer complex polyrhythms and lunatic fringe beats

maybe could develope a wee bit more but id be happy with this if id made it so yeah alls good in love and war
