Simplistic & atonal You have a long ways to go. My suggestion is that, before you explore atonality and minimalism, you increase your knowledge of music theory, you practice programming complex rhythms, you build up a library of sonic textures, learn to mix, equalize, sequence, arrange, harmonize, etc. Once you've done that, you're ready to approach a song of this type and really kill it. As it is, this sounds like a 5 minute job noodled on a midi keyboard, and you should really go back to the drawing board a few times & learn to make listenable tracks before you ask people for their opinions, because it's hard to give criticism for a bare-bones first-try effort. Keep listening to music, keep making new sounds, and once you have something you're quite proud of, put it up here.
