...with hurty bits towards the end. Gets kind of intense, but it has its moments of sweetness too. Not sure if there's anything more to do with it, other than maybe bring down the volume on the lighter percussion near the beginning.

I've been making breaks out of found sound I've recorded using my minidisc recorder and incorperating those into a lot of the new stuff I'm working on. It's all still in the experimental stages. I might hate this a few months from now.

This is very very very good, love the melodies, i can even live with all those fancy dsp effects, they seem to hold more purpose on this track, not just showy for showiness's sake , builds up lovely, its comfortably subdued on the bass verb swamp, and the reverb flourishes nicely on my headphones, i dont know which bits are incorporating the found sounds but it all appears effortless, loads going on here, those chord sequences, particularly at the start are great, Great climax building up too

Thanks a lot! The percussion is all found sound so far as I remember (made this one a few weeks ago). It's possible there's a high hat in there somewhere, but I don't think so.

Thanks! I'm happiest when I've succeeded in creating something that others hear think sounds unique in some way. I did try a lot of things with this track that are at least new to me, so I'm glad it sounds fresh to unbiased ears as well.

Also, I totally forgot about that big boomy sub-kick sound I used --that's one part of the percussion that is certainly not found sound. My cat just entered the room and reminded me that I used part of her purr as part of the kick sound. I should probably give credits if I ever release this, hehe.

yeah dude this sounds fucking great. Great sounds. the high percussive sounds makes it sound like you're in a cage.

very nice stuff, very fresh, great detailwork that don't detract from the piece but reinforce it. it feels very jazzy and funky for some reason, especially in the end.

i loved the intro in particular, and the calm part is really damn nice. does sound very unique. big ups!

i'm seriously loving this one

that recurring "zip" sound during the breakdown

the way the beats come back in is lush

along with 23:23 - one of the best electronica tracks i've heard all year

excellent work sir

Wow, thanks! That's quite the high compliment.

And thanks mohamad and iep as well. This one seems to be a favorite.

this is pretty cool. i like the first beaty section the best...i thought it was gonna develop differently, and wasn't so keen on the middle/end as i was on the bit nearer the start.

the chord sequence reminds me of a racing sim. which is neither good nor bad.

nice track tho!

Thanks!

I am fond of racing sims, so I'll consider that a good thing. If I had one goal with my music, it would be to inspire people to play racing sims.

Well made. None of the sounds sound defined. This is a good thing. Makes for nice sound, well mixed. Lots of deep bass sounds, and stereo. get a record deal going. etc.

Thanks. I'm signed with Metric Records now, not a major label, but their putting out my first CD (for this project anyway) at the end of this year. I'm curious to see how well it does. I couldn't even give an estimate as to how much I'll sell. Could be a hundred, could be a thousand, but any amount will be okay by me since they've got the funding covered :) Of course I'm really hoping that I'll be a worthy investment for them.

Cheers. I'm glad someone liked the ending best. A few others preferred the beginning. I quite like the ending bit, but it's the lead up that gives it punch. If the whole track were like that it might get kind of tedious. Could be fun though. I am due for another skull basher track.
