Reason Help

My boy and I are using Reason to record live drum samples played through my Axiom 25.

The only thing that's bothering us is that when I play through the drumpads, it won't record on the sequencer.

If you play the drums through the keyboard, it records the notes on the sequencer since the keyboard comes through Channel 1.

The drumpads come through channel 10...

is there any way for Reason to recognize channel 10 on its sequencer? (or at least make the drums come through a different channel)

at the top there's that "midi in device" with 16 channels and each has a drop down box. i -think- the drop down box assigns that channel to a device

so go to channel 10 and point it at the proper redrum, nnxt or what have you

i'm at work so i'm kind of guessing at all this, sorry if i'm off the mark

under preferences, there is a midi setting page with just a single drop down select box where you can select which midi device will be recorded.
