Something I cooked up in the past few days

I really like this basic bassline/beat combo. Tell me what you think.

Yeah, I did the last 2:30 in the last few hours, maybe I should just cut it down to a 2min track and be happy with that.

after a few listens, I'm happy with the entire track...

It's nice, but like Jubal said, I kind of got bored after a while. You should try to up the drive a bit, to get the track going more. Change to kicks on every fourth and get some 16th hats. Maybe layer inn another bass.

it lacks of fuckery. or it should sound like dmx krew, which would be pointless as he already exists.

i jumped on this since someone said it sounded like 80s pop! sounds alright but yeah seems to lack a wee something, pretty cool tho'. maybe more interest in the drums - more reverb or something. oh yeah and hats - good idea! melodies are all nice, maybe a little to make it less clean + flat sounding?
