No one's ever seemed to really appreciate this song from Old Tunes 2. Will remove if necessary . I think it's one of their best works, really dreamy. I'd like to know your opinions as well.

Yeah it's good track. Not one of the best from the old tunes trilogy but no it's pretty damn fine.

I can definitely see where you made the connection, cool beat.

PS, thanks for posting this, I haven't heard the old tunes and this is great

but its from that show "look around you".

lot of the music is very film board of canada on the show as is set in the 70's education show.

its been debated before to no conclusion. but if youre familiar with the beck song 'send a message to her' from guero then you know this part of the song comes in from nowhere. might be a nod to bucky high from beck?!?!?

BoC had better hurry up and remaster this otherwise im gonna obtain it otherwise. and i been holdding off doing that on some rubbish promise of a boxset someowhere on this here watmm.

Before WATMM went down the last time (or maybe the time before that, LOL) someone who apparently (according to Joyrex) represented BoC claimed that they were going to release a box set (BoCset) at some point after TCH. That was in the middle of a big clusterfuck thread about some stolen Old Tunes tapes. I don't know, there's been no mention of it since from anyone official, and I personally reckon they were just trying to shut us up :laughing:

As much as I would love it to be the case, I can't really see it as something BoC would do, but I hope I'm wrong :unhappy:

hmm, well i suppose i'm one of 'those' that overlooks this little beaut more often than not. I had MHTRTC for 4 years before i found out the artist responsable for producing it, so you can probably imagine how intensely i listened to it, and i generally feel like boc tracks with melody that fades in and out are generally my favourites (sorry for the weak description...) . Of course buckie pops up every now and again when ive got the 350 or so tracks in a random playlist, and i rarely skip a boc track.... unless its 'Trapped Demo' which sucks the horse imo.

The melody that comes in at 1min 8secs is nice and dreamy though :).

Had it all, suspense, intrigue, betrayal, old BoC. I'm just glad I was online at the time to see it.

I've been meaning to finish de-watermarking the high res scan of Vol. 2 but I never seem to get around to it.

Were you 'Prince Morhat' in that whole Old Tunes shebackle (I just made up that word) back in the day.

I love the Trapped Demo, it's so cheesy but it goes round full circle in cheesyness to become amazing again.

Ha, no, I've been on this board for a long while, but not so much after the last wipe (hence my post count). I just happened to be around at the right time to snag the images he had hosted for the auction before it got canned.

And it was Prince Murat, though he also use another nick or two in the debacle since Joyrex initially kept deleting his accounts.

for some reason the little synth drum intro reminds me of Mariah Carey...and that's not a good thing :confused:

I remember the Old Tunes thread. Twas indeed a piece of genius. I actually think the Old Tunes box set will eventually see the light of day, although it might not be for some time yet. Would be fantastic to own.
