bit wierd

Recommended Posts

so ive realised that i can change the pitch and sound of notes on my 101 just by lightly fingering the power button, without actually pressing it, and in a controlled fashion aswell

i can change the speed of the arppegios by pressing certain parts of the plastic casing too, is this a cause for worry?

naw... it's awesomeness.

it's a voltage based synth, so perhaps lightly 'fingering' (lol?) the power might slightly alter the available voltage... dunno about pressing the casing though... maybe you're bending a circuit board slightly and 'stretching' a connection, or maybe you're affecting the synth's percieved position of a slider or something.

fuck, i don't know, ask somebody else.

Haha nice... on my 74 minikorg you can create static by switching waveforms too quickly... but that's not so cool.
