his best 12" yet, i'd say ... sort of jazz-y

It's an easy job for dj's too. The whole track lasts 37 minutes and 11 seconds, so you don't need to mix for about half an hour, just some knob-twiddling. The only inconvenient thing about it is, that you have to flip the vinyl at 15 minutes, because the track doesn't fit on one side.

I agree with playbynumbers it has to be one of his best releases. The delicate rhythm keeps the people on the dancefloor moving, while the melody and horns are challenging enough to spin it at your bedroom too.

yes, got teh cd, with the second track being just the percussion.

good release. villalobos makes good stuff

i think it's his most abstract work (that i've heard). not really dance floor stuff.

the comments on discogs are pretty harsh ...
