New tunage

Haven't really posted or commented for a while. Am curious about my latest tunage, is it any good or just dog shit? Kinda at the point where I've heard it too much to really be impartial (well that went pretty early on). I guess I have some doubts. Over to you lot.

it's a pretty cool track, very funky. i didn't like some of the sounds yo used, too windows wavetable like and could use some reverb, but it's a really nice composition. sounds like you had fun making it!

What particular sounds do you reckon I should add reverb to? What about the keys for instance?

i think the drums could use some, they sounded kinda thin. the leads overall. i'm not talking huge space verb, just some kind of room or hall verb to make them less dry.

i like the squarepusher-esque bass noodling but it could use some low end.

reverb on the keys. the amen could get an bit of distortion (slight bit). i don't like the sounds of the keyboards (apart from the clavinet type one) but i like the funky feel os the beat+harmonies. makes me wanna listen to hard normal daddy. oh and i think you should get rid of the flange on the drums.

Cheers, you should listen to the 2nd version just above your post. That has xtra reverb etc. Tell me what you think.

The latest version of this tune is fucked and has some wrong sounds in it so every ignore it until its sorted out.

i like it, sounds like a lost track from hard normal daddy.

Oh well. Erm no it was actually done all on my old pc. I'll be getting another new pc in the next couple of weeks though. Sent the old one back 'cause I wasn't able to install a pro soundcard in it.

So you were turned off by the notes/chords/sounds etc? Mmm, maybe I should work on some stronger harmonies and stuff. Er excuse the pun but I've been struggling to really hit a chord with anything I've done recently.
