Guest getting photons
intro is nice and tight the rest of it doesn't feel like it falls in line with the constant intro but it certainly sets a mood. What was the methodology of this work? I'm starting to want to turn it off at 3:45... and at 4:20 it was done. Explain it more and maybe I'll get more out of it. Guest mushroom
It started off somewhat as me wanting to rip off Datach'i, but then it kind of devolved into what I usually do; that is, making random bits and trying to string them together as well as I can. This is the first time in a while I've walked away from a track almost completely satisfied, though. thanks for listening. Guest yan_g
IRAIL: intro absolutely great. disappointed by the percs i have to say. but love that awful reverb. i definitely love the sound but the track's too repetitive for me. i wouldv'e liked some crazy rhythmness instead of repetitive beats. don't like the end either. dunno maybe i just don't get it. Guest mushroom
To be (even more)pretentious for a moment, fast, skittering beats is the kind of style I'm trying to move away from. I'm trying to do more of the kind of style I enjoy; that is, using repetition of seemingly percussive elements with very subtle changes to kind of bash the listener's head in with the current pattern, to make sure he has enough time to pick out what's rhythmic and what's melodic while still eventually developing, and to warrant further listens to find those small changes. It's not a style I've fully developed or one that I can call my own yet as I'm just now trying it out, and it was pretty much the gist of electronic music in general before RDJ Album, and there's still many doing it today. In addition to that, I'm completely retarded, production-wise. I like it though, so I'm gonna spend some more time with it. Thanks a ton for commenting.
